JetCat

In JetCat you embark on a journey through a neon-lit city which guides your adventure. In this action-packed game you play as a cat with a jetpack, who tries to avoid cars on the heavily trafficked and dangerous roads. You will have to pay attention as at any time a second challenger might appear to make the journey even harder. Play by yourself or with a friend as local co-op in this modern iteration of frogger. As a two-player game, one player controls JetCat while the other controls the bypassing gasoline chugging cars to stop JetCat from reaching the final destination. JetCat was developed in two weeks using Unity as a first game project by FutureGames students. The students worked as an agile and multidisciplinary team consisting of nine members. The game is developed for a target demographic of 10-12 year olds and explores the theme of future mobility by introducing alternative ways of transportation. With an emphasis on accessibility, the controls for the game have been created primarily for the Xbox adaptive controller.
